First of all, we would like to welcome you to our site.
Studio Tintangel is located in the quiet northern region of the Netherlands where we started our business on 1 January 2001.
The business actually began at our kitchen table with the design, packaging and shipment of our handicraft kits.
Our handicraft kits proved to be popular rather quickly and since that time, we sell the Tintangel products through over 60 stores in the Netherlands, Internet sites and mail-order companies.
More and more people are discovering the pleasure of creating a beautiful decorative item themselves, and this inspires us to continue to design new surprising products for our customers.
All of the designs are created by Hannie Croonen.
Husband Paul Croonen handles all of the marketing activities such as this website, for example.
Handicrafts are not a typical Dutch activity.
What we have noticed is that there are people outside of our own country who have also discovered the pleasure of creating our designs themselves.
They then display these creations as a seasonal table centerpiece, as a stand-alone decorative item or even as a gift.
One of our first steps in this direction is to produce our kits in English so that we can address the market for potential customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Scandinavian countries.
